One large and … Read more Pair of aquamarine and grey murano glass hourglasses by paolo venini & fulvio bianconi & paolo venini. One large and one small. Tiny grains of sand, impalpable and imperceptible together, yet so real, like the passing of time. In 1957, fulvio bianconi & paolo venini captured time and transformed it into the hourglass. Perfectly balanced between two different colors, the sand flows through the polished glass, crafted using the incalmo technique; as it flows, it gradually takes on a different color, becoming an integral part of the glass.
