Offered is a classic, round and symmetrical, thick, staved Teak wood bowl designed by Jens H Quistgaard and made in the late 1960s by Richard Nissen'sTrævarefabrik in Langå, Denmark.
Marked "Dansk Designs - Denmark JHQ" on the bottom, the bowl measures 11 1/2" in diameter, has a mouth that is 9" in diameter, and is 4.125" in height.

There are some minor, typical nicks along the bottom rim, however, no chips, cracks, fissures, or deep utensil cuts. The bowl has been used and has some minor utensil scratches and a visible minor burn mark on the bottom (see photos), yet it has been carefully cared for these past few decades. Any wear on the bottom or surfaces is commensurate with its age and past usage. less
