Direct from France, a beautiful set of 4 antique French dining chairs with Renaissance style and opulent carvings, certain to provide Old World charm to any room.

The solid oak, substantial chairs feature ornate carvings that include grapes and foliage on the open crown of the seatback and framing the entire back splat. Barley twist columns provide the upright supports, each with carved blocks and topped with turned finials.

The seats are covered in a luxurious green floral fabric, framed in carved demilune gadrooning on three sides.

Stunning barley twist legs on all sides as well as barley twist stretchers and cross stretchers (always a sign of quality).

SOLID OAK, quality throughout, well built by craftsmen of the period, circa1900.
