I have been building custom furniture for over 30 years. I designed and built the table from scratch out of love for the craft of woodworking. The photos of the table are in my shop. I love this Pastry Table because it is very strong and aesthetically pleasing. It is sized for use as a bakers table or pastry chefs table. A chef might also appreciate having it their personal kitchen. The table is built from solid Cherry wood material using only mortise and tenon joinery. There are no metal screws, clips or fasteners on this piece. The bottom of each leg features an Ebony inlay to accent the legs of the table. The top of the table is vintage as it is an old piece of marble I repurposed from the original pantry of our old house built in 1912. The age of the marble is at least 100 years old. The size of the table is 46" wide x 21" deep x 32-1/4" high. The color of the finish is the shade of brown achieved when you place an antique finish on American Cherry wood. The front edge of the marble has a nice looking Ogee curve so it is soft on the Baker or Chef's hands while they knead and work the dough. See less
