The foreground is characterized by some ruined architectures recalling the glories of classicism: an imposing column surmounted by a Doric-style capital is flanked by a beautiful sculpture of a goddess. At the center of the scene, a knight on horseback watches the arrival of a vessel and other boats with figures. Roman school, second half of the 17th century. Salvador Rosa gilded frame is coeval with the painting. In excellent condition. The dimensions of the canvas are 100 x 72 cm. The frame section measures approximately 9 cm.
