A 1984 mixed media painting by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This abstract work depicts three pink circles floating against a background of blue, brown, and orange with a red stroke of paint located below them. Signed and dated to the lower right, the painting is displayed in a gold tone frame and a white mat.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
