Crafted in France circa 1960, this vintage folding ladder combines rustic charm with traditional craftsmanship. Built of solid pine, the A-frame structure features five wooden steps and a rectangular top platform, supported by sturdy angled legs.
The ladder is fitted with a hinged wooden locking bar and metal hardware, allowing it to fold flat for convenient storage. The natural pine finish reveals beautiful wood grain, knots, and a warm patina acquired over decades of use. Its simple construction and functional design reflect the character of traditional French country furnishings.
In excellent condition commensurate with age and use, this versatile ladder would make a charming addition to a country kitchen, library, or retail setting. The top platform stands 47.5 inches from the floor.
Dimensions: Open: 33” W x 14” D x 47.5” H (top platform). Closed: 7.5” W x 14” D x 55” H.
