Dating to the 1930s, this is an impressive Japanese porcelain that’s large in size with truly exceptional coloring. Standing approximately 14” in height and measuring 7” at its widest with a 5” diameter opening, the vase is a substantial one and is quite heavy at nearly 8 pounds. Artistically painted by hand depicting a pair of vividly colored exotic birds perched on a flowering tree branch against a deep ebony ground decorated with assorted flowers and butterflies. You’ll find this porcelain in beautiful vintage condition free of chips, cracks, crazing, prior repairs, or other compromising imperfections.
