The image is drawn from the celebrated publication *Der Rittersaal: Eine Geschichte des Ritterthums*, produced in Stuttgart by the publishing house of Carl Hoffmann. The work was artistically enriched by Friedrich Martin von Reibisch and given historical depth through the insights of Dr. Franz Kottenkamp, both of whom endeavored to present an authentic, richly illustrated account of European chivalry and its accompanying traditions.
