We present a majestic antique Italian rectangular dining table dating back to the early 19th century. This table is made of solid oak, its rectangular top is supported by trestle legs, while crosspieces in the center ensure the stability of the long tabletop. The table's distinctive feature is its imposing length of 200 cm / 78.74 inches. These tables, very simple in construction and unadorned, were made for use in convents and were called "fratini." Conventual communities used them in the rooms designated for the friars' meals.
Its condition is excellent; a conservative restoration has restored the table's beauty without erasing any traces of its antique charm.
