Used today to display Chinese export porcelain punch bowls or chargers. Originally placed near the hearth to keep food warm. Good condition - minor wear and small chips. Fully useful and displays beautifully by itself as a sculptural piece. Called a "cat" because it lands on its feet no matter which side and because it's found close to the fireplace warmth. Measures 12 3/4" x 11 1/2" x 9" tall. See less
