We use vintage hardwoods like … Read more Our French-style farmhouse trestle table is handcrafted to order from authentically aged, reclaimed barn wood. We use vintage hardwoods like elm, cypress, and white oak—always avoiding red or orange tones such as red oak or heart pine.

This made-to-order trestle table is built with traditional mortise and tenon joinery for strength and authenticity. Each tabletop is made from 1" thick planks in random widths, supported by a heavy, mortised trestle base and finished with a live-edge skirt underneath.

We don’t use stains—only a natural finish that highlights the wood’s original patina. The surface is sanded just enough to be smooth and safe to the touch, while keeping the character of the wood intact. The result is a refined primitive look, sealed with a satin Polycrylic clear coat and finished with a hand-rubbed wax polish.
