Palmqvist worked at Orrefors from 1941 until 1971 and was acclaimed for his innovative techniques, including the Fuga series of pressed glass and the award-winning Kraka and Ravenna patterns. This 6.25-inch vase embodies his signature balance of form and clarity, with exceptional craftsmanship that made Orrefors an icon of modern glass design. Etched on the underside "Orrefors P 4173-211," with the "P" indicating a Palmqvist design. See less
