The ceramic plates or wall plaques shows a life-size apple and orange, each centrally seated on a plate. The plates show a scalloped edge, the upside down apple and orange are realistically molded and painted in bold contrast to the crisp pattern of the plate. Since pre-Roman times, Este has been a renowned center for hand decorated ceramics and porcelains. The family owned Este Ceramiche Porcellane has operated for nearly 200 years, creating exclusive lines for such retailers as Tiffany, NY and Bergdorf-Goodman. Measures: 7.5 in. Diameter x 3.5 in.
