Gorgeous vintage designer English roll arm chair with a sophisticated modern wingback silhouette. Upholstered in a lovely sand/bone-colored aniline leather with lovely patina showing depth and character (see below for more details about the aniline leather). The modest size offers comfortable seating with a smaller footprint, and neutral color makes this chair incredibly versatile.
Although the manufacturer's tag is no longer present, the chair was acquired from a very wealthy estate in Park City which was furnished around 2000.
Dimensions:
Overall:
28" W x 32" D x 35 1/2" H
Seat:
22.5" D x 17" H 17" W (edge to edge between arms)
Arm Height
22 1/4"
Condition:
Vintage (circa 2000) - Very good
No major damage (no cuts, tears or stains) on leather. Leather has some patina and minor scuffs and marks, which is typical/expected (and even desirable) for aniline leather.
Please note: Aniline leather comes from a place on the hide that may show natural grain, markings, scars and variation in dye uptake. It is prized for its supple feel and the way it continues to gain character (patina) as it ages. This also means it does not have a perfectly uniform color or texture.
