Tall turned pepper mill/grinder made of solid mahogany. Removable brass screw top and chamber for peppercorn refills. The bottom of the mill features a stamp Cole and Mason The stamp indicates its origin and manufacturer, adding to it's historical significance.
Cole & Mason was founded as a giftware business in London in 1919. The company soon expanded into general home goods and in 1946 we launched our first wooden mill for seasoning.
We love to style our favorite items like these for easy use and display next to stovetop or range. The tightness of the screw determines the desired coarsenes. The mechanism is made rom stainless steele.
