Antique table cut square diamonds total an estimated 0.87 carats (estimated at H-I color VS2-SI2 clarity).

The ring epitomizes antique charm and would make a lovely wedding band or ring for everyday wear. The old table cut square diamonds offer a lovely subtle shimmer. Although absent of a French platinum dog's head hallmark (has tested positive for platinum), the ring is stamped with a French lozenge shaped maker's mark (unfortunately hard to decipher the marker due to wear). We believe the ring may have been made prior to 1912 when platinum was sometimes unmarked or inconsistently marked, or by a workshop that did not always follow strict hallmarking rules. Also, the dog's head may have worn down over time from daily wear, especially since the eternity ring is constantly exposed. Initials were engraved on the band also yet have worn down and we are unable to decipher them.

The ring is in good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.

Size & Measurements: The ring is a size 4 3/4 (not sizable). The band measures 2.5mm wide (0.09 inches), rising 1.5mm from the finger.

Metal & Hallmark: 900 platinum. The ring is not hallmarked though it has tested positive for platinum. The ring is stamped with a French lozenge maker's mark. See less
