This pair of sculptural staved teak and brass candleholders by Dansk International Designs were produced in the late 1960s to 1970s. Each piece is meticulously crafted from sections of richly grained teak, laminated in a stave construction for strength and visual depth, then finished with a warm, oiled surface. The flared, stepped form is topped with a polished brass insert designed for taper candles.
