A romantic celestial brooch from the Victorian era, crafted in 18K yellow gold with a platinum top. The crescent moon is set with approximately 2.00 carats of rose-cut diamonds, accented by alternating star motifs set with natural blue sapphires and additional rose-cut diamonds (approx. 0.60 carats sapphire total). Symbolizing guidance and protection, the moon and stars motif was highly favored during the 19th century. This piece remains in excellent antique condition and retains its original pin and c-clasp closure.
