Serving as the memorial-pieces of the jews and other antiquities, for the clarification of the h. Scripture \. Now translated into the low german, admirably enlarged, and enriched with remarks, by matthew gargon.' and it's additons: 'adjective to the general capital \. Name and dictionary \. And now translated into pure low german, curiously increased, and metv remarks enriched, by jakob van ostade and arn. Genr. Westerhovius.', by augustines calmet, published in leiden, amsterdam, by samuel luchtmans, r. & j. Wetstein and smith 1725-1731. This is a recognized encyclopaedic dictionary on all aspects of the history, geography and culture of the bible and biblical times. This dutch translation originates from calmet's work in french including: 'commentaire litteral sur tous les livres de l'ancien et du nouveau testament \.', first published in paris in 1707.
