Rare mid-century Cocoon pendant light by Goldkant Leuchten.
The flat Cocoon shade provides diffused, atmospheric light. At the same time, the symmetrical lamp body presents itself as an impressive luminous object in the room. The organic protrusions in the surface are striking.
The manufacturer Goldkant is known for various Cocoon lamp designs from the 1960s and 1970s. Many Goldkant designs are often attributed to Castiglioni due to the very similar patterns and shapes used. This piece has an attribution mark,
