An antique French gilt bronze fire screen in the Rococo taste, elaborately decorated and incredibly well made Bouhon Brothers Paris. Stamped and signed on the back. Original fire mesh. gently restored. Until 1898, the Bouhon frères house specialized in bronze fireplaces and accessories. Rewarded at the Paris universal exhibition in 1900 by the international jury for their screens and andirons, Thomas and Joseph Bouhon received the gold medal. Their pieces are now rare and highly sought after by collectors! This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
