Today his design company in Paris is family led. Mahey graduated from the college of Applied Arts of Paris in 1966. Ten years later he founded his design company of contemporary furniture. Working closely with his wife, Betty Mahey, they have presented many successful designs which have been d istributed in France and around the world. Using elegant materials such as lacquer, precious metals, rich woods and marble Mahey`s designs are m anufactured by the company`s own workshops, In 1992 they opened their present showroom in the centre of Paris and soon after their children Cecilia & Maxence joined the team. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
