This Vintage Turkish Oushak Runner, measuring 2'10" x 12'2", is handwoven with wool on a wool foundation in the Oushak region of Western Turkey. The Anatolian plateau, recognized as the birthplace of oriental rug weaving, is known for villages that each created distinctive designs and color schemes rarely replicated by others. These antique rugs have been prominently depicted in historic European art. Their bold geometric patterns and subtle colors have made them highly prized by interior designers.
