Circa 1860 This des has an arrangement of 9 mahogany lined drawers which retain their original turned knobs. The desk is raised upon a plinth base. The top of the desk having a fitted leather writing surface (replacement) with hand applied gilt and blind tooling. Of a free standing form and presented in good condition.
