Lucio Pozzi (born 1935 in Milan, Italy) is a distinguished Italian-born American artist known for his multifaceted approach to art, encompassing painting, sculpture, performance, photography, and writing. His art has been associated with movements such as Minimalism, Arte Povera, Fluxus, geometric abstraction, and Expressionism, yet he has developed his own distinct style.
Pozzi's awards include the National Endowment for the Arts. He is also a member of American Abstract Artists.
He studied architecture in Rome before moving to New York City in 1962.
His work is held in major collections of many museums in the United States and Europe.
Pozzi is considered a significant figure in contemporary art for his diverse and innovative approach to art. He has had a long and influential career, with his work exhibited and collected internationally.
