Pair of French majolica plates of vibrant, modern design decorated with colorful geometric shapes that, upon closer inspection, reveal various vegetables. This unique design is exceptionally rare; we've yet to encounter another example like it. Each plate features five large wells arranged in a cross shape, adorned with different vegetables, alternating with four smaller wells featuring a spiral pattern, intended for dips. Perfect for serving raw vegetables or crudites as hors d'oeuvres. Additionally, they can function as stylish wall decoration or serve as a distinctive gift for a majolica enthusiast. Marked on the underside as PV France.
Measurements: 9 1/4" (23.5 cm) diameter.
