Charming crates from Kerr Chickeries of Frenchtown, NJ from the 1920s. Each one is different giving the set visual interest and lots of arrangement possibilities. Use as tables, for light storage, displays for a plant vignette, retail products or holiday decor. The largest crate does not open as it is nailed closed but could be removed if desired and has a two-section interior. The medium one has a hinged top and metal hardware. The smallest one has two loose boards as the top as pictured. Great for adding rustic character indoors or on a covered porch and useful for many settings. A fun set reflecting agricultural history amidst the Roaring 20s and rise of industry in America.
