This was refinished in 1975 as documented on the bottom of one of the drawers. The drawers are very clean...the stains in the one drawer are I believe from the wood stain used to refinish the chest. There are a few scratches (mostly on the top) which I have tried to document in the photos. These are very unnoticeable unless you are up close looking. This is a great rustic piece with a small footprint and ample storage space. See less
