a painter who died at just 38, having lived in italy for many years. A czech painter associated with the futurist movement, she met filippo tommaso marinetti in rome in the 1910s. She became his friend and artistic collaborator, discovering futurism through the circle of marinetti and giacomo balla. She was one of the few women to actively participate in the movement, combining avant-garde and spirituality. Marinetti appreciated her personal style, which blended futurist dynamism and slavic symbolism.
