"Harborside Bathers" Large Scale Landscape with Figures and Boats in Acrylic
Idyllic harbor landscape with bathers and boats by Richard M. Bacon (American, 20th Century). Richard is a Connecticut and Massachusetts painter of landscape and figural paintings. The viewer looks out over a harbor, with several small buildings. There are three bathers by the water and a woman with a parasol walking along a path. In the distance there is one boat with full sails and a few others at a dock.
Signed and dated "RM Bacon 98" in the lower left corner.
