Amazing Mid Century Bull figurine designed by Kurt Tschörner for Ruscha Keramik. Vulkano glaze. 16 inches long; I think it is the largest bull they produced. During the time when Germany was divided after WWII, West Germany potteries produced the most amazing colored pottery. Really out there in terms of colors, textures, color combinations, and also forms. The "Vulkano" glaze often referred to as "Fat Lava", is the most famous.
Measures: 16in long x 8in wide x 11in tall.
Excellent condition. Has felt underneath its legs. No visible mark.
