Mid Century Bull figurine in Cerulean blue designed by Kurt Tschörner for Ruscha Keramik. Vulkano glaze. During the time when Germany was divided after WWII, West Germany potteries produced the most amazing colored pottery. Really out there in terms of colors, textures, color combinations, and also forms. The "Vulkano" glaze, often referred to as "Fat Lava", is the most famous.
Measures 12.5in long x 5.5in wide x 8.5in tall.
