Hard-paste porcelain vase with a central decoration depicting a pair of children, entirely hand-painted and richly finished in pure gold on a cobalt blue background, very similar to Sevres porcelain, Empire style, dating from the first half of the 20th century, signed "Fisher J. Budapest" under the base.

Useful information for evaluating the item:
From an internet search, we find that a cache pot from the same manufacturer is offered online for over $1,000, while a much smaller one, similar to a glass, is offered for $190, to give an idea of the value of similar vases.

Information about the artist and/or manufacturer:
The Fischer J. factory was founded in 1866 in Budapest and remained open until the second half of the 20th century. It was a very famous Budapest factory, which reproduced antique vases in the 18th and 19th century style, especially between the end of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century, with great artistic flair and decorations hand-painted by the artist.
