Minimal abstract oil painting with a blue central field surrounded by a yellow border on watermarked handcrafted paper by Satori Gregorakis. Signed in the lower left corner and dated ‘91. Also signed on the reverse. This is one of a series of oil paintings on paper that was created in Taos, New Mexico in 1991.
Satori Gregorakis (b. Long Island, N.Y., 1943-)
Satori is committed to beauty, exploring and developing new ideas. He is guided by the spontaneity of his imagination combining minimal form and detail with abstract ideas and feelings. His passion for abstract expressionism was first reflected in his early works and has continued to develop.
Satori’s paintings are widely collected both nationally and internationally.
