Late 20th century oil painting of a shepherd with his lover on a hillock with cows in the background and sheep in the foreground in the style of Fragonard. Signed in the lower right corner. Circa 1990. Framed.
I paint in the traditional style of old masters because I am drawn to the charisma of that era. For me, creating art is a patient ritual. At the heart of my process is the careful preparation of the painting surface. Ultimately my goal is for the person viewing my work to experience a pause, a moment to reflect.
Satori’s paintings are widely collected both nationally and internationally.
