A scarlet tanager (female) perched on white oak branches by artist Dorothy Doughty (1892-1962).
Manufactured by Royal Worcester Porcelain of England in 1954 from Doughty's highly collectible American Bird series.
Standing 11" high, 7" wide and sitting on a 4" wooden base.
Marked Royal Worcester 1954 on bottom along with the Dorothy Doughty signature.
Very good condition.
