The "dip" portion is *much* more inline with my own personal chip to dip ratio. Which is to say it holds roughly twice as much as the original dip bowl. I substituted a large cereal bowl from the set and voila- the correct proportions! The Chip plate is 11.5" w x 11.5"d x 2"h, the dip bowl is 5.75"w x 5.75"d x 3.25". I have other pieces of this design listed separately in my chairish store. See less
