A 17th Century Italian Carved Wood Sculpture Of Saint Roch. Saint Roch was a pilgrim and wonderworker born in Montpellier, France, around 1295. He is known for caring for plague victims in Italy and is considered the patron saint of plague victims, nurses, and pilgrims, among others.
