Stool of Japanese origin, produced in Tokyo around 1920 by the Gunjuhin Kaisha factory. Clearly influenced by military influences, it was probably intended for institutional or administrative use. Made of sugi (Japanese cedar) wood, it retains its original patina, lending character and authenticity to the piece.
Ideal as a decorative piece with historical value or as an auxiliary seat in spaces with an oriental spirit or wabi-sabi aesthetic.
