A 2014 acrylic on canvas painting by the American artist James Massena March (1953-2021). Titled "Inclement Weather," this abstract work consists of layers of patterns and colors in bright blue, yellow, teal, red, and purple. Signed and titled verso, the painting is displayed in a white wooden frame.
James Massena March was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and spent most of his life living in Ohio. March attended The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and Rhode Island School of Design for some time, eventually receiving his Bachelor's degree from Cleveland State University and Master's of Fine Art at Kent State University. His work is in the collections of PNC Bank, Cleveland State University, and Case Western Reserve University.
