The fabric is custom in a pale yellow. The light wood is what you see continuously on Italian Made chairs. The finish can be used. The carving is floral at the top of the chairs and at the top of the legs. The fabric has 2 designs. There is a diamond and a brocade look. The two different designs go at the head and foot while the other 4 go on the sides. The chair backs have a mixture of both. There is one small discoloration I saw but cannot find now. Very minor. Under seats pristine. You can for sure use the chairs as they are. These are gorgeous for any French decor.
Condition: Tight structurally. Clean fabric. One small discoloration. Variations of wood color inside the legs not shown and natural.
