They look like a combination of pen and ink and watercolor and have brilliant colors and great detail. The one pictured on the left has some minor staining. Both are signed and the one on the right is dated "April 4, 1848 (?)" under the eagle holding the shield. Nicely matted and in gold frames under glass. Image size is 13" x 17". A captivating early pair. See less
