This small bronze features a Faun or satyr with leg outstretched in front of him while sitting on the other, his hand raised holding an animal horn in front of his face. We believe that this bronze is modelled after a 16th century Northern Italian Florentine Original. The figure sits on a a simple bronze base that leads us to believe this bronze is from the first quarter of the 19th century.

Condition: Typical age related wear and patina. Outstretched leg and raise arm have been bent slightly
