Mid Century painting on canvas by Brazilian artist S. Aguilar Navarro, titled "Jangadas" or 'fishing rafts,' signed on the canvas bottom left corner and en verso. This lovely piece has so many warm colors and the brush strokes are very textural. The clouds and sunset are particularly lovely.
It is framed in a simple and modern rustic wood frame, which lends itself to a folk art feel. Add it to a gallery wall of seaside, ocean, and boat paintings for some varied color!
