The work according to her bio was likely painted in Avignon while she was in hiding from the Nazi's. The work features a young girl in an interior with a courtyard that features wonderful Thonet cafe chairs and a woven rattan and bamboo armchair. The linen draped table features a beret, a notepad, some papers and what appears to be a few pieces of fruit. All around it's a lovely image. I had the work professionally framed a few years ago. The liner in the frame is real gold, not paint. The work (sight) measures 18.5" by 23.75." See less
