The period in Chinese history when they were heavily involved in military exploits made the Chinese War Horse a very popular idea. Images made of them depict the strength, majesty and grace of these magnificent animals, as they do now. Now most of that is behind but the popularity of these images lives on as decorative objects, often featuring intricate details, sometimes reproductions of vintage figures. The horse, and the war horse in particular, is symbol of power, wealth, status, strength and military prowess according to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
Who doesn't love horses. And better yet, they seem to really like us.
