Small personal votive of the Madonna and Child from the late 40s or 50s. Italy. Pressed tin/metal set in a beveled oak frame the a glass cover. Natural patina of age under the glass the surface now is fine bronze tone, with a gilt frame over the beveled oak. The measurements are 4" by 4.5" and .75" deep. The image is 2.75" by 2.25". Just a lovely little shrine.
