Frank Myers Boggs Untitled (Rouen), 1906 Drawing watercolors, charcoal, pencils Signed, dedicated (“to my friend Dorival”), dated August 2, 1906 at the bottom Good condition (scratches in the graphics) Frank Myers Boggs (1855–1926) was an American painter and printmaker, best known for his cityscapes and harbor views in France. He was born in Springfield, Ohio, but spent much of his life in France. His works are now held in several prestigious museums, including the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rouen. His son, Frank-Will, also became a painter. 41 X 27 cm This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
