The domed lid features leaping lions around a central knop, while additional lions circle the bowl and an unusually rendered Foo Dog guards the interior.

The recessed base bears a delicately written four-character Yongzheng mark enclosed in a double circle, apocryphal as typical of the period. With crisp cobalt decoration, glossy glaze, and only minor firing imperfections, this bowl demonstrates both technical assurance and imaginative design.
